Yes, I’m back!! My kiln erred on me a couple of months ago, but it seems to be working now.
I have roughly 3 jobs - I make pottery, I teach in the community, and I now manage a regional arts education initiative - called Arts Partners for Learning (just started a tumblr blog for that at aplwny.tumblr.com). I sell my pottery on Etsy, and though we’ve had a team in Buffalo for a few years, it was without leadership and regular meetings. I was asked recently to take over as Captain of the team, so I am pleased to say we have now held 3 monthly meetings, we have growing readership on our Facebook page, and have a terrific blog with fantastic interviews and features especially about craft shows. I’m very proud of the talent here in this area, and want to encourage more people to consider making and selling their craft. Check out the blog here:
