I was asked by the owner of the shop where I am selling some work to make this type of dipping dish, as she sells some in glass. After one unsuccessful attempt here is the almost finished product, and I’m so happy! I haven’t seen anything like this elsewhere so I’m just going to make more and see if I can establish my own little niche. What do you think?

Miraculous Tapas Plates (in progress)
Its always the little things that make me super happy. I saw a demo from LaPella Pottery (click on photo to get it) about how to make these little plates. I’m still learning a few tricks for using my homemade slab roller (which you can see the roller off to the side) so this just blew me away. So I found some foam and already had a few pieces of wood - all of which is in the photo. Try it!! I will be making lots of these. When finished I’ll make some tapas to show them off…
